Sometimes I buy something amazing, and then I panic when it comes to working it into my wardrobe. Like this cute skirt I got from Nautie Godiva. The problem? My real inclination is to pair this with neutrals like a chocolate brown cardigan or a black one, but I'd much rather load up on more color. So, thoughts for a great outfit?

I like your way of thinking - rather than wearing with neutral which is "expected" - pairing this darling skirt with a pastel or bold color! I say go for it!;) Warmly, Jen
Thanks, Jen! My wardrobe goal for myself this year is to decrease the amount of times I gravitate toward a neutral for pairings. Today, for instance, I forced myself to put back the 3 gray cardigans I had in my cart (I overload on gray cardigans) and pick up instead a purple one.
Is this skirt olive? I LOVE LOVE LOVE olive with violet/ultramarine and other gem colors like raspberry. The rich neutrals and saturated colors are like a buffet for the pupil.
And, I didn't know you had a blog!

Hey lovely! The skirt is like mustard and olive were found cuddling in a closet. It's kind of smack in the middle of that color section. I'm thinking of wearing it for my first day of teaching on Friday, so hopefully I come up with something.
